Upper Dauphin Industrial Development Authority
The UDIDA was formed on February 13, 1974 and has completed numerous prior financing projects over the years. Some of these current projects include: The Londonderry School in Susquehanna Twp, PA, The Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of PA, United Church of Christ Homes, Inc., Shadowfox Corporation, Homeland Center, and the Bethesda Mission in Harrisburg. Some prior projects have included: Upper Dauphin Investment Corporation, Accu-Mold & Tool, Metal Industries, Inc., the Elizabethville YMCA, and Hale’s Food Market.
By providing financing arrangements for qualified entities, such as those listed above, the UDIDA derives fees. Those fees are then utilized to assist local community projects, such as the Millersburg Pool Association. Recently, the UDIDA provided a $2,500 check to the Millersburg Pool Association in May 2013 to assist them in obtaining a new diving board for community recreational needs.
